Why does no one answer anymore on ifixit?

7Gnosis, part of the issue right now is that we do not have a core group anymore. Just a few moths ago, we had a group of about 10 people that spend a lot of time on here answering all kinds of questions. Lots of these people had a specialized knowledge field. I think after spending many hours on here, answering a multitude of questions, and not getting any feedback from the persons that ask those question, finally wore a lot of us out. Some of us had life changing events that made us reevaluate how we spend our free time. Check on a lot of those answers and see how many of those were never acknowledged. It appeared that nobody had any inclination of saying thanks. Most of us in the Answers section are volunteers. We have always taking pride in our answers and had developed a certain esprit de corps. With the leaving of key members of that group, it has gotten a little slow and redundant on here. I am certain this will come back as new members join ifixit, and as soon as they will become regulars on here. Time will tell, and in the meantime, ask your questions, answer the ones you can answer and always say thanks....:-) It means a lot to some of us.
