Disney's MagicBand with RFID and Bluetooth
Now that Disney is starting to roll out their MagicBand in the parks, is there any plan to tear one down to see what is actually inside? We know that it contains a battery, RFID chip and bluetooth chip. There are rumors that Disney designed the chipsets in house.
Update
I have someone willing to donate their MagicBand to the greater good.
Is this a worthwhile discussion?

I might be able to get my hands on a MagicBand if iFixit would be interested in tearing one down.
Reports of use are starting to roll in. People are reporting that at a quick service restaurants, employees are able to locate guests by use of their band.
For example: You place your food order at a counter and touch your band to the register to pay (RFID I am guessing). You are then told to find a seat anywhere. The restaurant seats several under people in three different dining rooms. Five minutes later your food arrives at your table. There is no need to "check-in" at your table or anything like that. Disney just knows you are sitting at that table. I am assuming that there are able to triangulate your location using the rumored low energy bluetooth chip inside.
