consequnces of no-stop HD streaming

Hi,

I was wondering how much time a phone can stream HD content (from Youtube for example) without being destroyed by the effort. I've been wondering that for some time now and I thought you guys were by best option to get an answer :)

And would it be different if the phone was just downloading (downloading without playing videos)?

Thank you!

G.

Giovanni Riva, the physical destruction of your phone from receiving video stream is not depending on your data plan, but on your phone. The important point is that each cell phone is physically different from any other cell phone of a different type. Each cell phone can be expected to last for a different amount of time before it fails. It is bound to eventually fail, but unless we run a couple of simultaneous phone receiving videos, it will only be a guess. Sorry, I do not think anyone can give you a specific number. I think you are pretty safe to watch videos for a couple of weeks without any issues from the cell phone. Now you may have other issues with bandwidth etc, but not your phone. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks it's exactly what I was wondering even if it's a really improbable situation. :)
