5-point torx case screws

Is the new 2010 MB Air 5-star torx screw not the same as the "star" shape screwdriver heads included in your 57-piece toolkit?

Or is it he same but a different size?

UPDATE

In light of new information, I'm updating this answer. The 2010 MB Air uses "pentalobe" screws, as described http://www.ifixit.com/blog/blog/2011/01/..., and as rab777hp says below.

We have both an http://www.ifixit.com/iPhone-Parts/iPhon... to get past the new pentalobe screws, as well as a http://www.ifixit.com/Tools/MacBook-Air-....

office, the bit you are referring to is not the same as the "star" shape screwdriver in our 54 Piece Bit Driver kit.

To clarify the other answers here, vendors for the 5 point security Torx bit are required to do have customers do the following: "In order to purchase these bits you will need to sign a letter stating that you are an authorized serviceperson for the equipment where TORX Plus® tamper-resistant screws are used."

iFixit is also actively working on a solution to fit the new iPhone 4 5-point screws. If all goes as planned it should be stocked within the next week here:

These screws are pentalobe screws, to open it and to put in standard phillips ones, get iFixit's iPhone 4 Liberation Kit.

Good answer--actually answers the OP's question. +

rj713,

We are working on a source for supplying bits like these in our store. It'll be a little while, but since there's nothing to upgrade (yet) inside the new MacBook Air, there isn't a huge rush.

Kyle Wiens,

Actually, the link to Amazon only goes down to a T8 bit. and the MBA uses a T5 Torx Security bit.

dhaecke,

dhaecke is correct, so far all the 5-point drivers Apple has used are smaller then included in the set linked.
