Contributing iFixitAndroid App ID Problem

I'm trying to contribute to the iFixitAndroid app. I've added functionality but to test it I need to login with an account.

The problem is, when I build the app, either in debug or release mode. it states the app ID is invalid.

How can I test authenticated API calls before creating a pull request?

The functionality I want to test is uncompleting guides from the Android app.
