Can I install this safely and return if this doesn't work within 30days?
What is this touch panel pairing? If i plan to use my existing touch panel, does this matter? or does the touch panel come with the logic board?

We are compiling a complete, independent Bill of Materials (BOM) for the Amazon Astro, and your teardown is the only resource that has detailed the hardware. To complete our documentation, we are asking if the teardown team recorded the specific, proprietary part numbers for the following major components:

1. Motors and Actuators:

• Main Drive Motors: The full model number or manufacturer code stamped on the main brushless motors/gearboxes that power the two drive wheels.
• Head/Screen Motors (Pan/Tilt): The model numbers for the smaller motors used to control the screen's horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) movement.
• Periscope Mast Motor: The model number for the motor/actuator assembly responsible for extending and retracting the periscope camera mast.

2. Battery System:

• Individual Cells: The exact manufacturer's cell model number (e.g., Samsung, LG, or Sony model) stamped on the individual 18650 cells removed from the main A1440 battery pack.

3. Main PCBs (for unlisted ICs):

• Main Logic Board: Were there any small, unidentified or proprietary Integrated Circuits (ICs) (besides the main Qualcomm processors already listed) whose markings were recorded? Specifically, ICs related to motor control, power management (PMICs), or wireless communication.

4. Proprietary Modules:

• Periscope Camera Module: The part number or manufacturer code on the housing of the custom periscope camera assembly.
• Lidar/Depth Module: Any markings on the Time-of-Flight or Lidar sensor module if it appeared to be a custom part.

Any of these proprietary part numbers would be a massive contribution to fully documenting this complex device. Thank you for your continued work and any information you can share!"

I've attempted to order parts from ifixit. Find the item. Put in cart, and checkout. I get an email that everything is confirmed. Then I get an email that my order is canceled for some obscure reason and have no option to correct the mystery issue.

Reorder the same part going through the same process. Again everything verified and confirmed. Then mystery cancellation.

Is ifixit using "Bait and Switch" tactics on orders? How is it possible that a verified and confirmed order be suddenly canceled for a superfluous reasons?

It's impossible to get a real person on the line. What's going on???

popped up. It also seems that for a while now, that iFixit is lagging with screen refreshing etc. It just seems slow and sluggish. I am sure you all are aware of those issues and the Devs are working on that.

We've noticed that there are issues with the Device Picker. Just one example (of many this weekend ;-) is on this question https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/9233...

This is what it showed

Now, to change the device go to Edit the Question and select the device

Now this pops up

which looks just like what we need. So, we'll select it and that looks good

Now just preview the edit and submit the edit. The result is

absolutely no change ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is just one example of many. I made sure that this is not an issue on my end by having this verified with other Mods as well.

Devs, we need this fixed people :-) There are devices to be fixed. People need all of our support now more than ever. Let's not slow down and appear sluggish and wimpy. Lets move full steam ahead. Elbows up!

Somehow I managed to make the top of my screwdriver come undone.

I have also added he guide for [invalid guide link] but there are many parts included that we do not need to replace when doing this board replacement, removing them also will also remove them from the perquisite guides used I believe..... this needs to be addressed please.
