Then it's a matter of supply and demand. the 5300 DDR2 sticks have gone way up as people try to upgrade their older Macs.. Now that Apple is putting it all on the motherboard, I have no idea of what will happen to RAM. It may quickly become a thing of the past, just like the 3.5" hard drive and soon the 2.5" hard drives.
