From what I have known iFixit has always been a US company started by an American man. But I recently noticed the '''ICP license''', something which Chinese websites require to be hosted in China, in the footer of the website. Why would iFixit need it when it isn't even hosted in China?
This got me curious and I went to see the '''WHOIS''' record for the website http://whois.domaintools.com/ifixit.com? It states a Chinese name and number there but lists the US address of iFixit. The name being "''Shang Qiu Shang Zhong Guang Gao You Xian Gong Si''".
So I simply wanted to ask what is the Chinese connection of iFixit?
