So the right side is an indication of the most recent activity on a post. The user in this case marked an answer accepted, then unaccepted, then accepted a new answer. My guess is that at some point that activity ticker lost track and we ended up with this limbo state. The question does currently have an accepted answer, and there's since been a comment as the most recent activity, so I think no harm done.
