Thanks for your great question and interest in our programs. Our educational programs focus around teaching technical communication skills to students. You can learn a bit more about the program at http://edu.iFixit.com and http://edu.ifixit.com/prospective-universities. While we haven't historically worked with homeschool students before, we aren't opposed to it, but it would require some special circumstances. Our program is predicated on a participation agreement, which would need to be reviewed and agreed to by a parent, guardian, or someone who oversees your schooling. We also have an application process for our instructors, so we would need to find the appropriate equivalent to that application for your situation, and ensure you meet our participation requirements.
Of course, iFixit is an open source platform, so there is nothing to stop you (in fact we really encourage it!) from working on creating guides and teardowns on your own. It might be a far easier/better fit for you to just work through creating guides on your own without participating in our formal education programs. You are welcome to use any of our free resources on the EDU website to help you in the creation of your guides.
If you would like to explore joining our formal programs, please email us at education [at] ifixit [dot] com, so we can sort out the necessary steps.
Otherwise, I hope you'll post some guides—we love to share and show-off community guides.
