We've talked of putting up comments or something like that on profiles and allowing people to leave public/private messages. I'll bring this up next chance we're talking features & see what people think.

'''UPDATE:''' Sorry but the integrated iFixit PM feature is too much work for too little benefit. We recommend a dedicated email address (ifixit_pm_...@gmail.com). Post it on your profile and people will have an easy way to communicate with you. It also seems like people want a chat option. We're looking into creating an iFixit IRC channel which will let users chat about stuff. When we figure that stuff out we'll post again.
