I'm glad I have a 2011 since it was all I could afford when I had to replace my A1181 now :p. They probably won't enforce it (and I think putting the burden on the owner to prove they fixed it and isn't negligent is extreme, but I get why) because you can't tell a 2012 from a 2015 easily.

The burden of proof should be on the TSA where they identify a indication that exists on repaired units without burdening the 2015 rMBP user. They should only bother the owner if they can't tell.

That being said, I think putting the burden on the owner to prove they fixed it and isn't negligent is wrong, as it should be the TSA identifying unrepaired 2015’s.

But seriously.This recall is enough for me to avoid the 2015 unless it's not much more then a 2014 if I ever have the money to get one of these and I wanted one. Until Apple gets their act together I don't expect them to be as cheap as the 2011/12 13”.
