Hi @sarahw ,
Maybe I’m seeing it wrong, but I have already advised this user that it is not the idea of ifixit Answers to direct to professional repair services as an answer.
Sometimes his answers/comments ares OK but with a lot it isn’t and he’s been busy, with answers and comments and modifying guides etc
I deleted about 6 such answers last night and now this morning the user is back again doing the same thing.
He simply re posted the [https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/302889/Need+3.5+MM+Headphone+Jack+Part#answer641341|same answer - example only] each time as before, to some of the questions. (click on Show deleted to see) There is also a modification to a [https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Onn_Tablet_8_in|device page] that seems like a review more than anything, and also and ad? perhaps, amongst some device modifications he did.
Also he has “moderated” some questions as “Archive as unanswerable” which to me seems that because he can’t answer it, no one can. [https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/632973/How+to+Replace+HP+Envy+23-d027c+Display|This] one I have answered, just to show that it can be answered and simply hadn’t been until now, so there may be others who can answer the other questions and therefore maybe will help someone down the track
-Can these be removed from the Moderation page without removing the question? The other voter for the questiona’ removal is a person who seems to vote for moderation on everything, just for the sake of it although I might be wrong about that ;-)
+Can these be removed from the Moderation page without removing the question? The other voter for the questions’ removal is a person who seems to vote for moderation on everything, just for the sake of it although I might be wrong about that ;-)
Since I cannot ban the user temporarily and reading his profile this has already occurred once before, perhaps a reminder from you would have more impact or just an outright ban.
