Can you explain why someone would go to all the trouble of completely changing a wiki or is it just a subtle version of spam?
[https://www.ifixit.com/Patrol/Wiki/113578/en|This] one is awaiting verification in Patrol.
The user who did this doesn’t have any “student” affiliation that I can see not like the one I posted the other day.
I’ve noticed in the past in the Patrol area where others may have changed the title of a wiki for some unknown reason (to me anyway) so that it differed from the summary and therefore was not really relevant e.g. wiki title was for a particular device and was altered but the summary underneath wasn’t altered or vise versa, usually same brand different model. These I took upon myself to deny so that it wouldn’t confuse anyone who accessed it as to what device or subject it actually referred to.

[https://www.ifixit.com/Patrol/Wiki/237554/en|here] is a new example of this. Notice that the model number in the summary under the title in the unverified version now differs from the model number in the title. I’m at a loss as to know why this would be done without also saying something in the summary about the “new” model. In this instance there is only an in progress guide attached so not too much harm is done but on others there have been full guides attached which may possibly mislead if the title was changed for a different model
