I got my iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit recently as well. I can tell this sticky residue shouldn’t be there.
-My tweezers has sticky residue on the head as well. So I ordered a bad quality screen that come with tweezers, after compare second one DO NOT has sticky residue on the head.

Therefore, there are shouldn’t any sticky residue on them. To conclusion, their tool only looks stylish, but not good attention to details.
