Yes, this is because you’re using the french version. We're currently working on an improvement of the display, so that guides will also show up in other languages.
Until then, I can only recommend you to search in English and then switch back to french once you found what you’re looking for to see if that specific content has already been translated.
And of course, you’re always welcome to translate the ones you find useful so that our next french user doesn’t run into the same problem ;-)
