If it is alcohol of + 95º it should be solved when drying. It should dry very quickly, but you can use a hair dryer (on low power) to speed up the process.

I have never managed to repair a screen after having liquid damage. Once it enters between the layers of the LCD it will break down and leave a stain.

When changing the battery, it could damage the screen flex, check it.
