We’ve been watching many fixers for months, and his contributions and interactions stood out! So after several rounds of peer-approvals, as well as having internal discussions at iFixit, we offered him a moderator position and are thrilled that he accepted!
We are excited (and fortunate) to have him onboard.
As our amazing repair community grows, it has become more and more apparent that we need a larger moderator team to help take care of the site. Adding Jacob to the team is the beginning of growing the moderation team to healthy levels.
Our goal this year is to make sure that all areas of the site are being moderated, so we’ll be looking out for future mod prospects to recruit.
