I'm replacing a cracked digitizer on my iPad 7 and I'm at the stage where I'm ready to put the replacement part back on, but I'm not 100% sure about the home button. The original off the cracked digitizer has the gasket still on, but the side which fits in the digitzer cutout has no glue and the back of the digitizer which holds the spacer ring also has no glue.
Am I supposed to simply use some E6000 to hold the home button to the cutout and then fix the bracket with E6000 as well or skip the glue around the home button and just hold it with E6000 via the bracket?
