Title:

Suggestion: Remove Repair from new device pages

Text:

Since I have been editing a lot of my old device pages from the past few years to clear out any serious issues, I have noticed a lot of them have Repair in the title. One of the things I get rid of by default is Repair, since I believe it really does not serve a purpose for the device page.
On my new device pages, it gets removed right away.
Here are a few I had to remove it from:
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/HP_Photosmart_Plus
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Dell_Inspiron_530S
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Dell_Dimension_5150
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/HP_Laserjet_1200_Laser_Printer
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/HP_LaserJet_1012
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/LaserJet_Pro_400_M401n (Likely removed later on)
+
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Canon_PowerShot_SX150_IS
+https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Canon_PowerShot_A470
Here is one I can find that is recent, and I was able to omit it from out of the gate:
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/ThinkPad_T420
The reason I am suggesting this is because I feel like the device page is not meant for general repair information and is better suited for general device infornation, like what CPU a system has and what video card options you have for a given system, along with details like maximum memory capacities (including unofficial if the author feels comfortable with it with appropriate disclaimers and validation if they choose to do so).
Repair information should be put in guides rather then the device page, so you can make it the primary focus and not mix it in with general information. I like to make repair information device page independent, since I feel they both do different things. The only thing I can think of that can interchange that I mention in my device pages is the hard drive thickness and supported drives, along with RAM capacities (official and sometimes unofficial). I do this to make the information easy to find. Outside of this information, I don't like to put that kind of information in the device page.
While it isn't difficult to remove, I need to do it with my first round of edits. Right now I make sure I get it done by doing it with my first draft for the device page and saving it so it's finished. I remove it since I feel like it's redundant, at best. I feel like this is an area compromise is possible. I don't like to keep it in the title of deice pages, but someone else might. I could see it working as being treated as optional, so that way if someone wants it they can have it and vice versa. Repair in the device pages feels like a Repair 2.0 relic at this point. It hasn't aged very well.
I don't think many people would notice it being removed nor miss it if it was. I know I'd be okay with it being removed altogether since it saves me an edit.

One of the things I get rid of by default is Repair, since I believe it really does not serve a purpose and is more of a past relic.

On my new Wikis, it gets removed right away.

Here are a few Wikis I had to remove it from: https://www.ifixit.com/Device/HP_Photosmart_Plus
