This Device groups may need to be recovered. Attacked by spam.

https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Chromebook...

Someone put spam on the Chromebook Device page. While I was able to clean it up, I may have had to lose some information in the process of doing so. The main problem with the cleanup was this spammer replaced the original content, so I may have had to get rid of the original content to ensure it's clean.

I don't think that's going to be an issue, but I think someone should take a second look. The reason I don't think this will be an issue since I looked in the History and never seen anything recent that could lead towards solid evidence legitimate content was lost, so I think this so it's probably very likely nothing was lost.

I would also suggest raising the non patrol number, since this spammer clearly gained points to pass this without anyone overseeing it. 500 is generally too low and isn't hard to meet with a few good answers and then showing their true colors.

This is the person who did it: https://www.ifixit.com/User/1758576/Raic...

They also hit this, but not to the same extent. Again, it's been cleaned up and no other damage looks to have been done: https://www.ifixit.com/Device/PC?revisio...

Very interesting! Do you think that Raichel Simon was a sleeper agent, building up reputation for years so they could spam down the road? Or was her account hacked?

Good question. Considering she's got the neighborhood watch badge I think she is a victim of a stolen password. Her answers aren't too bad, either.

I just don't see this user as a member of a sleeper cell. None of the answers provided ever linked to the one used to spam on the devices. I'd contact her and issue a new password. After that we can monitor the activity for a while.

I agree with @oldturkey03 on this, but I also have some concerns. Let's see with her, since this isn't a clear case of the person being a spammer out of the gate. If it happens again, it's a spammer who went under the radar to self approve their spam. I think she was hacked, based on what I see.

Personally, I don't think she is a sleeper agent spammer, judging from how her reputation was earned. I'm leaning more towards hacked account, but answers like this don't help my judgement even when I am being as unbiased as possible. The rest look fine on page 1, so that's a good sign. Part of the reason I get a bad feeling is her picture seems like stock photography from the appearance so I did a reverse image search. I see it on many types of pages and on a stock photography site, so I'd advise her to change it in case that raises false flags but leave that up to her.

I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt very cautiously. If it happens again, I'm going to assume she's a spammer. Her answers aren't the best, but I see that so often I don't want to use that as a major point.

@nick I don't see it Those answers do not make one a sleeper cell spammer....

@oldturkey03 The low quality answers aren't a definite sign but it's an observation I made while I was looking at everything about the profile and seeing what I think. Like I said low quality answers are more or less the norm with some users here.

I'm more worried about the stock profile picture, the 1 spammy answer and the spam that I found on those devices more then the non spammy low quality answers.
