Update your stuff before your router. Otherwise your stuff might not get updated.

I'm like 95% sure the routers will never be updated (especially if it's an ISP router), @pccheese. Update your devices (if they are supported) and you'll be fine for the most part.

@pccheese - Sure! A Bridge or Router is nothing more than a PC with two or more NICS running software.

Bridge/Firewall:

- OPNsense

- Shorewall

Router/Firewall:

- pfSense

- VyOS
