Enhancement requests: editing a guide & creating a new devices for Q's

I've been doing some editing of some of the guides and questions cleaning up some of the terms and adding some info.

1. I'm wondering if we can add a note field in the edit window (not visible after the save) Where the reasoning of the edit can be expressed. I think that would help the edit approver to understand the reason. History is useful too but it doesn't express why.
2. I've never had great success in getting a new device correctly placed in the hierarchy. I know there is a magic god in SLO ;-} who does manage to get them to the correct place. There doesn't seem a way to at least try to get them to the correct place to start with. So with the new picker when a device is added maybe this would be a good place to offer a hierarchal listing like we have for the device but to get to the correct level the new device should be placed. Then someone can then move it if its in the wrong place.

Why this is important is when I create a new device for a question for someone, I create the device but after which I can't seem to bind the question to the device! Until its placed in the correct placement.
