Phillips 000 driver supplied with tool kit too large

It seems that the 000 Phillips driver that was supplied with the tool kit for replacing the battery in my IPhone 6s Plus is too large. It does not fit the Phillips screws for the cover over the battery connector. Any suggestions?

Answer this question I have this problem too

What does the marking on the bit say? You might have gotten a 00 by mistake.

Also keep in mind the screw is a low height screw so the walls of the screw are shallow as such the bit will sit a bit proud as its also designed to fit the deeper screws. This also makes it easy for you to strip head of the screw! So do be careful.

Both the #00 and #000 bits work on those screws about equally well in my experience. Either one should be perfectly effective if used correctly, assuming there isn't some sort of manufacturing defect.

Seems to be resolved "000 Phillips bit in my kit must have been defective. I borrowed another 000 Philips screw driver from my Son's kit from a previous repair, and it worked as it should.
