iOpener how much heat?

I tried the iOpener on a tablet repair, and failed miserably. Two questions: (1) what is the max temperature the iOpener can tolerate? - I could use an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature and quickly know how long to heat it in my particular microwave. (2) What temperature is required to loosen most adhesives? ... --- ... Without these answers, it seems that a heat gun is a better alternative, you can heat until the adhesive begins to loosen.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@twiga65 temperatures to loosen the adhesive are usually between 80 deg C and 100 deg C with 80 deg C being the norm. So, your iOpener would have to be hotter than 80 deg C to transfer the heat.

75-80C is fine. 100C may melt some phones.

could I use my food dryer to loosen the glue. I could guarantee the temperature setting at 80o for example. But the whole device would of course heat up, would this cause a problem.
