Let's make a small wager on when OldTurkey reaches 500K

UPDATE (2018-05-13)

Well, there you have it. Our beloved @oldturkey03 has reached the 500K milestone. That's quite an achievement and it only took 16,175 Solutions & 115 Guides. So for those of us that visions of grandeur, consider that for a moment :>). Dan is the next closest but even with a full 200 points per day, it would still take nearly 3 1/2 years. There's a very real possibility that these levels will never be reached again, at least not with Answers/Solutions.

So hats off to OT and @mayer for doing more for the DIY fixer community than just about any volunteer alive. I kneel before you and offer many thanks.

@Kyle... I hope iFixit will offer something nice to these gentlemen. Words are nice but free ;>).

Once again we are coming up an astonishing milestone. Mike Tyran, aka oldturkey03, has been providing outstanding support and moderation of the Answers Forum for many years now. As a small token of our appreciation...and for fun and giggles, let's start placing our bets on what day exactly @oldturkey03 will hit the 500K milestone!!

I'll start first...I estimate, after much mathematical calculations, that OT will reach 500K on May 21, 2018

Winner gets bragging rights for a day :>).

RULZ

  • You can't pick a date already chosen
  • Other than normal voting habits, you can't influence the outcome
  • No changing your date unless you ask permission to the RULZ-MAKER (that's me :>)

UPDATE: Were only ~5K away from the big moment, it's starting to look like @oldturkey03 is going to prove the prognosticators wrong!

UPDATE: OT will probably hit the milestone tomorrow...or Monday at the latest!

Let's see... I say may 10th. Of course I did some rounding in the math, so Most likely within 5 days of that date. pretty close to my birthday! (May 7th)

The number can vary a lot, but I know Mike will have minimum of 200 hundred points a day. I'm going to take a wild guess and say on my birthday, May 3rd.

@refectio THANK YOU so very much. I am truly humbled by your kind words. I would not have any accomplishments if it would not be for this great community. Without each and every one of you this would just be another forum where people come and go. It is all of us that make this a community. I am proud to be a part of it and am looking forward to many more solutions and guides from all of us.
