What's the deal with this RAM?

8GB of DDR4 for $27? Seems to good to be true. I was in the need for some RAM when I could afford it, and @captainsnowball showed me to this. I just want to make sure this price didn't need any updating.

Hey gang! Thanks for the report! I chatted with our parts team and it looks like that was kind of a beta version, we're working on finalizing it!

@pccheese looks like it just went up. @sam should I make sure the rest of the RAM types are priced for profit?

@sam RAM prices are pretty high currently. (maybe I'll sell some of my spare) and DDR4 is crazy expensive due to a shortage of some sort. found some price trend charts here: https://pcpartpicker.com/trends/price/me... and prices since 1988: https://jcmit.net/memoryprice.htm

Awwww, shucks! I needed some RAM!

@captainsnowball RAM is at high because smartphones are getting more and more RAM and GPUs are at high too because of cryptocurrency. The more GPUs used for mining means the more use of RAM in manufacturing the cards.

It's been at a high for a while now. The manufactures should have supplied the demand a while ago.
