Will you consider using 3d printers for your ifixit solutions? This would include STL files for repair parts.

Hi William!

We’re actively trying to better apply 3D printing to repair solutions. You can currently attach 3D object files in any of the following formats to an iFixit guide or wiki: 3ds, amf, blend, c4d, dwg, fbx, ma, obj, or stl.

Here’s an example of a user-submitted 3D part on a guide: BCG600SIL Dose Control Pro Coffee Grinder - Jamming due to Worn Impeller

Speaking of attaching things to answers, can you make .mp3 and .ogg's work in answers? There have been a few instances where that would be handy. .reg registry edits would be GREAT too

Audio files are a bit of a slippery slope when it comes to enabling piracy. I don't really see how they would help enable repair. What's your proposed use case?
