Why is my new replacement battery not taking a charge?

I just purchased a replacement battery (Order #1709264 ) I installed it as directed in the video but the battery is not taking a charge.

After initial installation the battery charged to 100% then when it was disconnected and used it jumped from 50% to 2%. After it was plugged in its stuck at 20% and saying over 10 hours for a charge.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Options

First of all, make sure you have everything plugged in correctly, and that you’re all good on the software side. If you’ve insured that, I’d recommend contacting iFixit, as you may have gotten a bad battery, it happens sometimes. Good luck!
