LCD Replacement Part Issue

I think i’m having issues with ifixit’s phone parts (By the way i have a pro membership). about a week ago i replaced the phone screen on my iphone 6s, I used the full assembly version, it was not labeled pro. When i installed it the touch ID disabled itself, In my head, It was fine I didn’t need it… About a week later it cracked in the middle of it, and around the crack it looked like the glass was peeling up… Note, my phone was in my pocket the whole time.. Never dropped it!

It appears to me that ifixit gave me

1.) a knockoff part

2.) A defective home button flex which caused the touch id to disable itself

I just now purchased the pro labeled one which in the product description said it was OEM. I just want to know if anybody else has ever had this issue, and if the screen replacement: “iphone 6s LCD replacement (Pro / Choice)” Is OEM…

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thanks for your post!

Meta is for talking about the inner-workings of iFixit and our community. It sounds like you have more of a Customer Support issue. If you’d like our Pro Support team to assist, they ask that you contact them via this form and provide them with your order number associated with this part.

Since you’ve reported damage, photos would also be most helpful to include.
