new ifixit battery but won't charge/turn on?

received a replacement battery from the original ifixit battery that wouldn't hold a charge.

after the swap it now won't turn on/charge. tested the charger is working and tasted nothing is damaged in the phone by using another battery where it powers up just fine.

new battery = bad battery or just need more time to be plugged in since it probably has a dead charge?

it's been plugged in for 15mins now with no response.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

firstly when you attach the phone back together after first use did you charge it ?

and secondly some third party manufacturers do add nylon wraps around most lego connection point to prevent liquid or heat damage you might just need to peel ‘em off bruv

it was on the charger for 40 mins and never turned on. already swapped it out for the original iPhone 6 battery and phone is working fine. waiting to hear back from ifixit on this issue with a NEW battery.

Its probably the battery it self might have been flat from been way too long in the storage

you can still trying boosting it to life with desktop battery charger using tiny covered wires hooking one into the desktop charger and taping the other two end to the iPhone battery

note this might void your warranty don't border if you're expecting a refund but it's a nice idea if replacement is an option
