The iFixit replacement battery is missing the adhesive strips

I just installed a replacement iFixit battery in my wife’s iPhone 6. The battery installation went well except that the new battery does not come with replacement adhesive strips to mount the battery. And, the removed strips were little wads that were stuck together like chewed gum and could not be reused. I think you guys do a great service, but this is not cool. I had to use scotch tape in a couple of placed to get the battery to sit still.

Please think about updating your battery kits with this item.

I think you might want to contact iFixit customer support about this because the kit is supposed to come with the battery adhesive strips. They will more than likely send you the proper adhesive strips at no cost if you could explain your scenario.

If you just bought the bare battery it doesn't include them. You're expected to have them or know you need them.

Maybe this should be changed but as of right now that's how they sell it. It's also made clear on the page if you go for that option and the complete kit isn't much more if you aren't sure.
