Happy Right to Repair day!

Happy Right to Repair day to everybody at iFixit! This includes everyone at the Answers Forum too.

I am exercising my right to repair today by replacing my teacher’s iPhone 6s Plus’s cracked screen with a new screen. I'll let you guys know how it goes. :-)

Update (10/22/2018)

Finally. I finished the screen replacement for my teacher’s iPhone 6s Plus. All went according to plans except for the fact that my cat almost tossed the replacement screen assembly off my workbench and onto the floor. Luckily I caught this before the screen went crashing to the floor.

@kyle Wow! We have more exposure to people around the world now. Also, that video was made very well! Too bad it didn't get as much views and likes it deserved.

Also, it's great to see a CEO of a large company actually interacting with people on it's site. You rock Kyle!

pps. I may or may not have accidently just bought a virago 250cc motorbike to fix up for the aussie summer... seems i have not learned my lesson on buying vehicles (currently have a '74 kombi and '60 beetle in the garage in various states of repair- the beetle runs, it just doesn't stop- yet!)

@pollytintop I was a vintage VW mechanic for 8 years and sadly just sold my Bus. I too thought I'd learn my lesson but I've been itching to get another air cooled.
