Upgrade kit for the Pro Tech Tool Kit

Do you offer an upgrade kit for the Pro Tech Tool Kit and older 54 bit sets.. I just opened the one I got last year and found I have a slightly different set of bit than the current kit. Mine has no Pentalobe bits, a less sophisticated suction cup, no scalpel. Maybe there are other bit differences that I missed. Anyway, I need to keep my tools current to be able to work on the newer devices. If you don’t offer an upgrade package, do you have a list of the upgrades I need.

UPDATE

No answers?

@kyle You do realize the potentially of this kit. You probably are able to pull a list up of everyone that has ever bought the older kits and may be in need of this upgrade package. Then notify them ny email of it’s upgradability.

I personally have 4 sets that I would upgrade. I really don’t need anything but the new bits, but very Mac tech working on the new machines is going to need it.

Every tech I know is a tool junkie and you are the dealer!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thats interesting! I was considering buying one of those toolkits with my Christmas money. My current tools are really beat up and I'm going to need to replace some tools soon...

I can tell you off the bat there are 3 components I know are easily upgraded from what I see compared to my old one:

  • 64-bit driver kit (Easier to replace the entire unit because of the changes to the driver needing a new case anyway)
  • Halberd Spudger
  • Suction Handle

It looks like that’s it in terms of what was changed. I don’t see any other differences between the two. Since I mostly deal with PC’s, such a thing isn’t needed but if the price differential between a upgrade kit and what I wanted isn’t off, I’d probably just do the upgrade kit.

My older ones have no Pentalobe bits.

Mine are both new enough to have it and I have the Classic with it, along with the new one.

Some of my kits go back to before there were Pentalobe screws.
