Who comprises the iFixit Moderation Team
I got an email from Aaron Cooke. It included a letter from the
“iFixit Moderation Team” explaining his ban.
He seems to be under the impression that the Answer Moderators have anything to do with this entity. I know I am not a member of this team, I don’t know of any Answer moderators that are. From the responses given to Aiden Baker, all the Answers moderators appear to be older more mature individuals (most have raised children) and seem to be a very forgiving lot.
I just wanted our youngsters to know that I had nothing to do with the judgement of the
“iFixit Moderation Team”
I feel a name change is needed for this group so as to avoid confusion.
Call it the Rules Enforcement Committee
Is this a good question?

Hi there,
I want to clear up confusion on the part that I was mistaking the “moderators” team for the “admins" team. I know that the answers forum moderators are not in charge of my ban, rather the site admins are in charge of it. It was more of an email explaining what happened to my account and an encouragement to politely ask the admins of they could rethink their decision on a permanent ban. I received a kind email from the admins explaining the permaban and giving me a second chance on iFixit with a new account hours later.
@captainsnowball has been advising me to lay low for a while before starting to be a regular again. If y'all think this is the right thing for me to do for the time being please let me know.
Anyways, I hope to regain everyone's trust here again and to contribute to this site more then I ever have before. A huge thank you to the site admins for letting me have a second chance at iFixit, it really means a lot to me!
Aiden, if you are reading this please understand that I assume all responsibility for if something happens to my ability to be on iFixit for posting this comment.

@ajcooke01v2 I got a giggle out of your new name. Is the v2 for version 2? Captainsnowball is wrong, you are not a paper whipped dog hiding under the bed, come on out and play, just don't get to rough ;-=)
Glad you are back, however I would like to see your guides restored to your new account. Some misunderstanding can take place between between individuals like us and a group like the iFixit group. As a rule technicians sit all alone for years over a workbench with very little interaction with others, while the iFixit forum is wide open and you are always working with others.

The isolation of a benchman can be hard to take, you don't get many strokes from others. At your age you need that reinforcement more than you will later in life. Your reinforcement will come from within. The group mentality will use ostracization and clicks as a means of correction. The isolated will be much more forgiving as they see so few people. So you need to try to establish a balance and socialize more. Hanging around the old sages all day may be enlightening but you still need to be a kid and get out and play.

@mayer Yay! I'm happy that you want me back on iFixit because I kinda see you (and Dan) as my mentors. You guys have some of the same interests as me (Apple products) and I have learned countless things from you two regarding Macs. I'm actually in the process of cloning the guides from my old account to my new account (time consuming!) and I'm almost done with that.
Also, yes you are correct. v2 stands for version 2. Version 2 of me will hopefully be a more helpful, more wise me.
Aiden thought I should lay low for quite a while because I am fresh off of a ban and he (presumably) worried that not all of the admins were aware that I am allowed to be on iFixit again with a different account. It was out of good faith, as he didn't want me to be accidently IP banned for "ban evading" again.

I too still play, but in my own way. Hopefully I do not do it to often to tick off the admin. I did it yesterday here, thought you might enjoy it https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/5342...
