do you use something called hotjar for the site?

It went away when I closed the ifixit tab, but it seems to be killing my ram and dramatically increasing the load times for your site. with it disabled, Load times got much better and ram Usage is OK.@evan

Hey @captainsnowball,

We do use hotjar, but we just decided to gut it since it was causing you problems. Hopefully that fixed it for you!

I never really had a problem with it even in full form. Then again my laptop has a 4810MQ processor so it could handle the load Hotjar introduced. Sounds like it hit low-end chips fairly hard.

I don't think an i5 is that low end, but @jarstelfox if you do use hotjar, feel free to put it back. also, have you ever considered using Google's lighthouse for your website? https://developers.google.com/web/tools/...

@captainsnowball, we actually use this often when testing code changes. There has been a focus on performance lately, thus we have been heavily using lighthouse
