iFixit Battery Connection Won't Fit Into Socket

Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the S7 Battery Replacement connection should fit with the circuit board? I am having issues with the new connection piece fitting with the circuit board. It is not snapping on. I confirmed that my iFixit kit was for the S7. Any suggestions on how to get this connection to snap on? My phone does turn on and off when I plug it in the wall outlet so there is a connection just not with the battery.

Can you post some pics of the two connectors from your battery (old & new) as well as the mate connection on the logic board [invalid guide link]

Bad news!! The pins are damaged on the lower (new) battery!
