Touch decease on multiple iFixit screens

I have 4 cases the last year with customers complaining on how their iPhone 7 starts to make calls , interact with apps by itself. In lock screen it makes calls to emergency contacts.

All screens are from iFixit eu store. I contacted them about the issue, but all they did was send me replacement screens!

I appreciate their customer service and fast replacement of bad screens, but I did not get any answer about the fault symptoms!

Has as anyone else encountered these issues with iFixit screens on iPhone 7? I have had no similar complaints on any other iPhone model screen replacement.

Regards

Ghost touching are bad replacement screens. I get this from my supplier too. I’ve switched suppliers for the 7 plus specifically because of this.

Ah, the ironi! I thought IFixit had top QC, but I guess some errors slip trough. I’ll try to find another source for iPhone 7 i guess!

Thank you for your reply!

iPhone 7 screens have large variance, requiring a calibration machine to calibrate individually after replacement, this is not related to quality.

I think many of these problems in the IP7, come from misplacing the flex screen. Mounting the screen flex (corner 90º) above the LCD plate will bring these problems in the near future almost certainly.

I have seen many problems like these that are solved by correctly mounting the screen.

It is also true that the failure level of IP7 is greater than IP6 / IP6S.
