Some of my ifixit messages go to inbox and daily responses are ending in spam folder. Doesn't bother me much... I'm on yahoo, may go and check settings again

Thanks for letting me know. There are possibly some things we can do about it, but they're somewhat limited. Please let me know if this is happening for you by posting here.

One way to avoid this is by adding "noreply@ifixit.com" to your address book, but everyone has to do the same..

Happened to me too, Gmail started marking some as spam (or at least one), Gmail's filter works based on what others' mark as spam. Quite possible it's a small problem for iFixit as I'd guess there are a ton of people now who have posted, many of which no longer interested, and thus mark these emails as spam (as they're too lazy to figure out how to unsubscribe). However, as mayer suggested, clicking "not spam" should do the trick to teach Gmail specifically for you that that's not spam. Unfortunately, as I said, this may become an across-the-board problem.

Wow, never thought others were influencing my settings. Thanks for that!

That's why Gmail's spam filter is the best in the industry- crowdsourced

Thats why I brought this up, its that the gmail comunity has somehow deemed ifixit emails spam. I understand that websites grab my e-mail address and I frankly don't care because gmail does a darn good job at filtering it.

Hate to tell you this Gabe, but your spam emails tell us what kinds of sites have grabbed your address from your visits. My spam looks nothing like yours. If you want the iFixit emails just mark them as "not Spam" or not junk according to which email program you use.

Wait, not all spam e-mails are about viagra, cheap rolexes, enhancing things, lost money funds in African prince or whatnot?

Since I do a lot of research answering questions, my junk mail includes Tide, JC Penny, GE Appliance, Mother Earth News, CompUSA, Smith Micro, Aspyr, eBooks, eCost, Kohls, Sams Town, AAA, no viagra, no enhancement products, no Nigeria, I do get at least one a day on taking a cruise, but nothing that bounces ;-)

That's completely unrelated- you just probably don't have your email out many places

Happily for me I have no idea what any of you are on about. Rarely check emails anyway.
