Hey All

After browsing a bunch of you tube videos regarding the 2018 mac mini ram upgrade DIY tutorials

I noticed that some comments in the video mentioned that the latest mac mini’s baught after the month of April has a new type of screw

Which makes it impossible for the ifixit tools to work on them and so we have to take it to an authorized service center

Please let me know if this is the case or if there is a workaround for this

Sounds like are talking about the TR6 Security Torx. This bit is included in most of the kits, also as a single driver:
