Did you upgrade your replacement screen quality?

Hi,

I bought and installed a 6s Plus replacement screen probably around 1 year ago. I just bought another one and installed it last night. The difference in quality between these 2 screens is absolutely incredible. The one I ordered in the past was, quite frankly, just terrible. The one I ordered last night had different internal markings and appeared to be much higher quality. After installing and using it, I can say that it is of INSANELY better quality than the old one.

If you recently changed suppliers for this part, PLEASE KEEP THE NEW SUPPLIER AS YOUR SUPPLIER FOR REPLACEMENT SCREENS.

Finally, I feel like the iFixit price premium over stuff on Amazon is worth paying.

Seriously, this screen fixed all the following issues of the previous ifixit part I had installed:

1. Slightly Non responsive to touch in general

2. Choppy scrolling

3. Completely unresponsive to touch if slightly warm outside or brightness up all the way

4. Auto brightness works again

5. “Hey Siri” works again

I am so relieved that my new part actually FIXED MY PHONE it’s like a new phone.
