Forum account impersonation by another user

It seems another forum participant doesn’t have more important things to do in life and decided to copy paste in his own profile my avatar, the about page as well as my own contact email address.

Not sure if using somebody’s else credentials is illegal also in the U.S. but I find it annoying and hardly acceptable at best. Anything can be done about it ?

Hi arbaman,

We’ve issued a stern warning to the user and banned them for a month. We’re also in the process of removing any inappropriate contributions they’ve made and restoring your lost rep. If this user continues to violate our guidelines, let me, @jogihara or @sarahw know, and we’ll take further action!

Well, you could look at it as a sign of flattery ;-}

Or... It's really creepy! Wasn't there a movie or two where people impersonated people to take over their persona ;-{ I don't think thats the case here though!

This person does need the get his own avatar and scratch the duplication in his bio.

I'm sure the @sarahw can fix this

I don't honestly know what he is up to, but he seems to have some serious problems, unless he's a 13 years old who forged a profile for the fun of rising some troublemaking, I believe he's got issues with rage control. Not that uncommon, unfortunately, but he's not gonna stop soon I'm afraid. And yes, same guy who downvoted you..but I lead the score this far ,-)
