Most images in ifixit teardowns are shown as broken images.

I am seeing this problem in Chrome, Firefox, and IE. Is this happening to anyone else? Is the problem on my end or on ifixit's server? I've noticed this for the past few weeks, but since then I've changed router and modem. I've disabled adblock. My firewall is disabled. What else can I do?

Thanks,

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

(Works fine for me.) Can you give me a specific link to the teardown you can't see images for? What operating system are you using?

Also works fine for me.

I'm not seeing it either.

Try going to an internet cafe and checking out the site from there? That would help you determine if your internet connection is to blame.

I think it was the cache. It is strange, the first time I cleared it, I could see the images (in chrome's incognito mode). When I tried to load a page I've been to before in regular mode, it would not load the image. I went back to incognito mode and the images were broken again. I then went to another page I haven't been to (the latest mbp 15" teardown), and now every image loads (even the ones that didn't load before). Same thing happened for Firefox.

I tried Chrome in XPM (I am using Windows 7/OS X 10.6 otherwise)and images loaded fine. It was also the first time I visited the pages too.

Oh, I only cleared the data cache, not the browsing history or form history. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I still can't view images on sparkfun from Chrome, but I suppose I should bark up Chrome's or sparkfun's support forum. Thanks for the help!

Did you try to clear the cache in the browser? What about another computer ont he same network?

What if you made a new user account and tried to go on ifixit with that account?
