I see listed on ifixit is a battery kit to replace the battery in my droid turbo 2. I just got it last week and was supposed to be a new phone but the battery last a few hours before dying, so obviously it needs replaced. Does it matter on battery size? The phone is supposed to have a 3760mah battery but the kit sold on here is a 3550mah battery. Can anyone help? Thanks!!
As far as we’re aware, these batteries are provided to us directly from Motorola and we’ve listed the capacity in mAh based on what is shown on the label printed on the battery by the manufacturer. We can reach out to Motorola to see if perhaps we are listing the incorrect information on the product page, but this battery should indeed be compatible and work just fine for your repairs.
Sadly, I cannot read the language on the label, but I do see that both 3550 mAh and 3760 mAh are written on the label. I have attached a zoomed-in screenshot of the label as it is shown on our product page:
