I bought a screen that doesn’t work

I recently bought an iPhone XR phone screen from you guys and the touch doesn’t work.. what are the steps I can do to figure this out .?

@juanito01 …thank you for your purchase and support for diy. while it is possible that the screen you received is nonfunctional, this is rarely the case. typically, after a screen replacement , any non function involved after is due to damaged caused by the replacement process itself. i would retrace all of your steps and make sure to reseat the connectors. i would look for any signs of tears on the flex cable as well. you may want to use a magnifier and hold against a light to ensure you can see the thin traces inside the cable. here is a guide that may help…make sure to check each connector and cable that is used in this process:

if this doesnt get you anywhere, please post here for further assistance. we may have you take some good pictures of the flex cables and connector pins to help visualize.

I made sure that it wasn’t just an error that I made , I made sure to check it for any tears in the flex cable and there isn’t any the problem with it is that the new xr lcd screen is unresponsive it works except the touch , if there is anyway to send it back to get it looked at or exchanged please let me know I’d like to figure something out . Thank you for your time :)!
