1 ifixit store shipping feedback
not a question, but this is where the ‘feedback’ button takes me.
I almost ordered >$100 in supplies from the ifixit store. I wanted to support the business directly, and use a streamer affiliate link to throw a few canadian ruples their way.
Even the slowest shipping option cost money. I tried opening shipping options to see if there was anything that was even slower but free, and nada.
I know it’s hard to compare with amazons logistics network, but I have the same items arriving next-day with prime, for the same pre-shipping cost, but giving amazon money that you could have kept. Please find a reasonable way to give free shipping, it’s the only reason you lost whatever amazon kept.
Is this a worthwhile discussion?

Ifixit.com/linus. It shows my store as USD.
opened my shopping cart from "https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Tools/Toolk... to try to checkout, $14 shipping to greater chicago area.
I'm assuming this is the US store, but if its not, it's definitely not clear to me that I'm shopping from the wrong region.

@tassadarforaiur - Your link is to the US store not the canadian. IF you are in Chicago area you should stick with the US store front.

Then I am using the correct site. $13.65 standard shipping on a $108 subtotal order. it's too much to justify buying directly from ifixit.
