I've only been here 10 minutes but I think I've fallen in love.

Sorry, I haven’t seen anything encouraging new member introductions, but I am so enthused by the whole thing that I wanted to anyway.

It’s like I’ve been sitting here all on my own going slowly mad as I complain to myself about inbuilt obsolescence, the obscene and immoral disposability of produced goods, and the appalling hurdles placed by manufacturers to prevent the consumer maintaining and repairing their products.

Then, in a moment, I go from sad old man muttering and moaning in isolation, to a feeling of validation as I find a whole community of people who feel the same way.

Thank you for this initiative. I would like to get involved and contribute, but I’ll take a few days to look around and get the feel of things.

Take it easy lemon squeezy :-)

Thanks Kristen, thanks Dylan and Kyle*.

I look forward to participating Kristen, I'm all about repair, and if you can't repair, repurpose. Though I did once punch a printer to death. Some would say such an act demonstrates anger issues, I will always maintain that the printer in question deserved it. I regret nothing.

*why can't i figure where/how to tag people in replies? if any of you happen to see this please clue me in. x
