Samsung Has A Way to Increase DRAM over PCIe !
Compute Express Link (CXL) based systems will take over!
Is this a worthwhile discussion?

@hellomacos - I Agree!
Also, I suspect the Mac Studio is going to replace the 2019 Mac Pro,
It just seems odd how the INTEL (THAT'S RIGHT NO M1-M2) 2019 Mac Pro is being sold at the same time as the Mac Studio!

It’s quite strange that they are selling them side by side
But there is a reason!!!
The Mac Studio isn’t as powerful as the Mac Pro in areas and it’s waiting on being replaced by a apple silicon one:-)

@hellomacos - The M series chips still need a bit more performance (more speed and support more threads) before Apple will rollout a new Mac Pro.
Besides, the investment they made for the redesign hasn't finished its pay back.
We'll see it in 2023 and it will be a major jump!

@danj
Looking forward to it!
I would love to see one with a modular SOC(along side all the other components) and no software locks
Would be nice to see but we will find out what actually happens:-)
