Would it be possible to implement model number lookup in search?

Sometimes I feel it would be convenient to be able to look up Apple device search via the model number. Fo instance, instead of looking up "2012 MacBook Pro 13 Unibody" search macbookpro9,2 as seen below.

I feel like this would speed up search in some instances.

So, like, maybe a field in the device wiki page where we can fill out model numbers/reference numbers etc. associated with the product?

This is a good idea @thequacker! I'll pass this along to our developers so see how technically complicated it would be to add this.

(Just so you know, though, feature requests can take quite a long time to go from an idea through implementation, so you likely won't see it happen right away.)
