Problem redeeming a store code

I was sent a $5 store code for participating in the Show and tell contest back in October. The email didn't say that it had an expiration date. I tried to use it today, it didn't work. Is it just my fault for letting it sit in my inbox for that long?

@guardian10 Have you used promo codes from iFixit successfully prior to this? I had an issue with the first code I received, as it was linked to the US store and even though I’m registered in Norway and use the EU store, the code was for US. Amber fixed it for me that time :)

I seem to recall you’re based in the UK, so maybe the same issue? US promo code and you have to order from UK store??

@geirandersen No, I'm from the USA, and I have used store codes successfully before.

@guardian10 My mistake, it was just my head that somehow had mistakenly thought it’d seen UK associated with your name..
